When we talk of the real cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is the main, so dont expect any other crypto to beat the value of Bitcoin cause they are just alternatives. When investors wants to invest their money they mainly talk about Bitcoin and whatever that is left goes to alternative coins (Altcoins). If you watch the market regularly you will notice that people runs to Bitcoin at all times, so when Bitcoin is going up or down, altcoins continue to fall.
