If I choose these two coin, I will hold NEO, because this is a very good platform. Currently, ETH is quite risky and ETH price is down. Maybe this year will be a major reform of the ERC 20 platform.
I think you are mistaken. Investment in the ETH is no more risk investment in the NEO. Both projects have troubles with scalability and performance. Both work as platform for ICOs with smartcontracts. Both have a big community and strong team. In addition ETH is mined but NEO have very few nodes for real decentralization.
