In my opinion, gambling online we can play with identity not the real one, so that the family or the closest person doesn't know that we are gamblers. But in my opinion, gambling on the casino and looking directly at our opponents is more challenging. 
Agree. The biggest advantage yet of online gambling, is that you could play with a fake identity (in some games) instead of your real one. In some cases, you can even play at a gambling site without fulfilling the requirement of 18 years of age. And in others, we don't need to interact with humans at all, as everything is done by the blockchain (in the case of gambling games which operate on smart contracts). The benefits of blockchain-based gambling games are even better than traditional online gambling games, but their adoption will greatly depend and how successful they would be in the mainstream world.
Sometimes, it's better to gamble online than doing so physically, as the chances of being duped, or tricked is very minimal. However, not everything is perfect, as online gambling games still have their flaws. Which it all comes down to preference whenever the gambler wants to play within an online gambling site or simply visit a local casino for a better experience. Nevertheless, I believe that online gambling has far more advantages than regular gambling, as most games are provably fair, transparent, and don't require ID at all. Just my opinion
