Yeah I know x2, right? Well not exactly... profitability is same as yesterday and the day before. So it can't be opportunistic miners.
They should be on Doge or whatver is the most profitable coin.
So it has to be those who wants EAC but not for immediate sale, right?
The double rewards only last for one day. Refer to this page for when the x2 and x5 days occur:
