contrast to traditional assets protection
- Difficult to maintain a balanced portfolio on the highly-volatile market
- The slowness of entering into funds and exiting out of them; lock-up periods
- Country-related fund limitations. KYC limits most of the investors from different countries
- High entry thresholds of funds in terms of investments size
- Daily trading on exchanges is time-consuming and not safe for the long term. Every month one exchange gets hacked
