I don't see how that user can be banned because his post has some similarities with an article on some other websites.
It could possibly have been used for research purposes, and the user took some information from there and other sites.
This just looks like a retaliation, cause this post struck a nerve, this further proves the bias in this forum and how the the lower ranking members are trod upon by higher ranking members.
For God's sake thus is not a content competition and it is not in the rules that you can't pick ideas from sources.
Are we suppose to learn about cryptocurrency without reading about it?
I strongly suggest theymos looks into this.
Maybe it's not the spam posters killing the the group but the conceited high ranking members.

It is quite simple - use your own words or quote the source that you got the material from.

It is not hard to quote the source if it isn't your own words that you are posting.

If you quote the source then it could be considered "fair use". If you don't quote the source then it could be plagiarism and copyright infringement.

Did you read the post?
I did and I also checked the link, there were a lot of difference between the post and the link.
I feel it was a prejudiced decision as I see words from other end source added to a post.
This is not a content competition, was there a rule on the % of plagiarism?
While BT is bickering about spams and newbies, other  forums are going to the moon.
No one can complain without some random user going through his pride searching for some errors or even going as petty as checking for spelling errors and when the find some shallow fault, the moderators are more than happy to do their bidding.. That is what is killing the forum not spams and whatnot... Clear bais.
And when you call them out they hide as they have done on this thread.
