If you would like me to PM each member to send back the merit, sure...I did not know it was not allowed to reward members who contributed positively to our thread with a merit.
Take a look at the thread, the only ones who were awarded were the ones who posted a comment which I had answered and informed other members of something not previously specified in the thread. This is mainly due to theymos' new merit condition, which allows people to determine who is contributing quality content and who is not. I have operated this project and displayed my trustworthiness to this community for a very long time, and I don't appreciate that it's been quickly taken away for awarding members for positively contributing to my project. I would appreciate if you remove the red trust, or you can change it to a neutral if you really believe that my intentions are malicious, but honestly I do not see any wrong being done here.
As I stated in the thread I was mentioned in, you may keep your negative trust there, it makes no difference to me or the project I have been running for the last year. We have had plans to move off bitcointalk to our own forum for a while, you have only just expedited those plans.
Though a piece of advice from my foundation of values... if this is the way you treat project owners, especially legitimate ones who have been building their ideas for over a year like myself, then I think you should definitely re-evaluate the consequences to your actions. You will quickly kill off real innovation on this forum and the only projects left will be scams. The way people who have influence over this forum nowadays is not far from a centralist agenda, the very contradiction in which what Satoshi stood for when he built this forum, and the very contradiction of my projects core beliefs and values. Live up to the values of the creator of this forum instead of doing exactly what is making our world a problem today.
That's all I'll have to say for now. If my project is a problem to you and this forum, we will be out of your hair soon.
Here comes the sob story; like the project has any actual value. A hacked account accusation is simply mitigated with a signed message which any sane user would know and trivially provide. If this spread of the merit continues, I'll rewrite the rating mentioning how fraudulent the project is (which it already largely is due to the false comments). This just looks like the tip of the shitberg here. Look at the other Member accounts in that thread. All have recently woke up and reset their details recently:
You should ask theymos to nullify all his merit and any merit that he sent to anyone otherwise the damage can't be controlled without tagging every single account.
