Yeah i agree life isn't fair because i have to deal with the higher ranked members here who got into higher rank purely based on luck.Yes they suck up the fact too. 
Early adoption =/= luck.
Regardless, I was only a lowly member rank when merit was introduced, and now I have 500+ of them. What's your excuse for me?
Maybe if you spent half as much time reading and improving as you do blaming others, merit wouldn't be so difficult for you to earn.
