Newbies and juniors suffer because they keep starting duplicate threads like this one.
How can i get merit points if with the sharing system 5>2.5>1.25>0.625> we are heading to zero?

The reason we don't run out of merits is because the merit source members keep getting their sMerits replenished. So there's not a fixed amount at any given time. It keeps increasing. And I would add that Theymos just added 36 more merit sources AND advised them to be somewhat liberal when handing out merits to Newbies. I've been trying to be liberal so far, but right now there's a hell of a lot of spam threads and merit-grabbing attempts.
I'm going to hold off until this all settles. Some noobs, no doubt, are trying to make their best posts ever in order to get out of newbie hell, and then they'll likely go right back to shitposting.
The word airdrop is too much expensive word in this scenario as it's purely a luck so let's call, merits are "donated" to higher ranked members as they didn't had one.
You're free to call it whatever you want, but you're obviously not grasping the "life isn't fair" concept. I'd also point out that you're just now complaining about something that happened back in January and that it's useless to complain about it.
