What if they sell just wallet.dat without passphase, that would get on all first page news 
what if they print it on a billboard? what if they say the private key out loud on a radio show? what if they launch the usb stick with bitcoins on it into space? oh how many possibilities of doing something stupid and illogical my head explodes.
