What if crypto currency was created by the government and was a threat to you?  Have you considered this?  Every one of your transactions on the public ledger.  That 5 you spotted your friend.  That's now can be made a taxable event as it's on the blockchain.  Once you have the blockchain and no paper cash they got you.
