Despite having a first attempt produce fair result doesn't necessarily mean its ideal or genuine. The first attempt may be a scheme used to lure you into investing more thereby leading to a loss finally. I have good friends that has fallen victims to situations like this because they got returns investing first time and believing reviews that can be easily acquired or made.  All i can say is make good research and find out their goals.
