Will the decision are depend on you of which kind of  coins  you should purchase  before new year hits,but my advise you must rely on the coin market caps exchanges  in order that your mind would brighten  and you can choose of which coin now have a low price when you buy and become profitable someday when you sell it,but in my own its better  to choose btc because it is the main source of all crypto coins,while in other hand i have no idea of having an exchanges to deposit us currency via banks or debt cards,otherwise its depend only to those country who regulate a cryptocurrency investment.
