You are right about that. We go to summer vacations to Tel Aviv and to winter vacations to Eilat.
Why would we want to harm it?

You also forgot that 1/3 of Israeli population are ethnic Russians (born, bred in Russia, with Russian as their mother tongue)
and the sizable proportion of them speaks neither Hebrew, nor English.
They were raised by their parents on Soviet SoyuzMultFilm cartoons (made by Soviet Jews) and on Soviet children books,
written by the same category of Soviet citizens.
And what's interesting, you cannot find in Israel any toxic bullshit that children of other countries are now fed.
Neither on bookshelves, nor in cartoons.
