We can clearly see that spam is decreasing in significant numbers in the past few days when the new merit system appear, however, not stop there, the old disappears and new ones appear, it is a pandemic to beg merit from others. The newbie constantly creates posts to beg merit or they try to show they deserve merit while they never do it in the past.
They are very active and I understand their purpose, and such information only appears in the last few days, it's more than every day. I do not know it is good or bad for the meta but theymos should take some measures to reduce this to the lowest level
