Hi, that is correct. You can rent your unused network traffic to help provide a secure connection for those in need. You will earn MYST tokens once the payments system has been implemented. We are currently on TestNet and everyone is welcome to join and host their own Mysterium node. We will have a post on implementation of Mysterium Identity in Mysterium Network on Medium.

Hi, we launched Mysterium ID on TestNet this week. That is activated by paying with MYST tokens. The developers have a proof of concept of payments system that will be on TestNet and then will go to mainnet. That is estimated to be between the end of this year and beginning of next year as currently appears on our Roadmap. Milestones and progress updates will be detailed on our new website.
