You are a little wrong. They also accept all tokens on Ethereum (ou tokens ERC20)
This is indicated in the list. It turns out they take thousands of currencies and believe in their future)
Accepting donations in a currency =/= believing in its future. I would call it a stretch to say that UNICEF "believes in the future" of all ERC20 tokens when the vast majority of them are trash.
I mean, I doubt they'd go through the trouble of accepting these things if they thought there was no future in them. There's no reason to go through the trouble of accepting cryptocurrency if you think it's a fad that will die in a year or two.
I was talking specifically about ERC20 tokens, not all cryptocurrencies. However, if you have an account with Binance or any other major altcoin exchange, it is trivial to accept most cryptos regardless of whether or not you believe in them. You can accept trash like BCH and scams like EOS, knowing full well you can immediately sell them for Bitcoin, which is actually worth something and which you can actually use. Same goes for the vast majority of ERC20 tokens.
