Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion fits all three criteria to avoid (speculation on price, price discussions, 21279 pages long), but is actually a pretty interesting thread for discussion, especially since signatures don't show up in that thread. It's a good general rule, but I think Wall Observer might be an exception. IIRC it's also the thread that has the most merit given in it.
Few exception always exist. Thread that you have given as example here is a very different world. They share some random pictures also and discuss on them.
Do you really think that thread is good starting point for a newbie to learn crypto?
Learn? No.
To have legitimate discussions without worrying about post length & trying to fluff your post? Yes.
