Russia is preparing for the long-awaited legislation tailored to regulate its crypto space. According to the latest reports from Moscow, the term “cryptocurrency” has been taken out of the legal texts. Nevertheless, Russians have no reasons to doubt the existence of the decentralized electronic cash. They have many options to get involved in cryptocurrency, regardless of what the law says about it.

I think its a positive news! if Russia will legalized the "Digital Asset" since Russia being a powerful country I think everyone will follow because Russia itself has a huge influence globally. I don't get any point why some governments are afraid of this "Cryptocurrency Revolution" since they can make a necessary measures or regulation to make it safe to use by its citizens.
Well it depends on we look at the situation, some governments are "afraid" because of tax issues, afraid that they'll lose money because of money laundering. On the other hand, countries that are friendly towards Bitcoin, such as Malta, are so because they like to attract the wealthy millionaires to live in the country. Then a lot of countries are "in between" these two positions. I am not sure about Russia yet.
