Really depends on which game you are playing, over time the house edge usually tends to pull back any short term winnings. I think that if you play a PVP game such as poker and its variants then you have a fair chance of winning if you are playing carefully and with tactics. Definitely stay away from games based solely on luck as you will end up losing in the long term.
It is the nature of gambling that at the end all gamblers lose their money. The ultimate benefit is of the owners of casinos. Gamblers never take any extra money with their selves, even they lose their own. Gambling is a bad thing and a bad thing has always bad results. You can never take any benefits of such a bad thing. Gambling is like a drug addiction and if you become gambling addictor you will lose everything.
Even games like poker can give you opium and addiction and if you are addicted it will certainly produce a bad calculation or strategy on your game and you will end up with losing, whatever type of gambling game if you play for the long term then what you will get is mere loss.
People keep saying the gambling is only for entertainment and highly addictive but who cares all they want to make money without much work but at the end they are losing everything what they have.If you lose few times then better take a break or completely quit if you cannot afford to spend money for gambling and always need to remember that never expect any return from gambling.

To win in gambling in the long run through sport betting it can be done. I am the living proof of it. I have done 7 consecutive weeks in profit from my tipping service which is free and no need to pay any money, this is my absolute record for the moment, meanwhile I just ended another month with 4 consecutive weeks in profit too. Just my two cents that winning in gambling from sport betting in the long run , can be done.
