It seems like it is. A lot of persons are pushing hard for altcoins investment. It seems like it is the new deal on the block. I think this is mainly because of  the fact that bitcoin is actually so expensive and rather than putting so much in a single coin, a lot of persons would rather have their investments in good altcoins, that would give them more returns in the next couple of months.
