sorry to disappoint you but you don't know the ways, that doesn't mean they don't exist.
market analysis has been around for a long time and it has been working for bitcoin both technical and fundamental analysis are part of it. "working" doesn't mean it is fool proof, nor easy. it means it is not impossible.
as for altcoins none of the above works but there still is patterns and signs of  a pump and dump that you can detect and "predict" the future of that shitcoin that is getting pumped.
