Good initiative even though majority of newcomers don't know or care about wallet that they use, they even don't care if they use centralized wallet. My suggestion is promoting the main advantage of SegWit (that anyone would see) which is lower transaction fees (because it has lower transaction size/weight).
For desktop i agree Electrum is overall best-wallet. User can have full control while remain user-friendly, Electrum even support Tor (assuming you've set up Tor connection at default port). But i'm not sure about their Android wallet since it's crap compared to their desktop wallet.
I'd recommend
Samourai Wallet which have very rich useful features/configuration even compared with desktop wallet. Especially their Stonewall features, even though i don't how secure/private is it in reality. However, it's still on alpha version.
P.S. Development & Technical Discussion section isn't suitable since you plan to help newcomers.
Yeah , I heard about it by one of mine friend but I was confused due to segwit name with wallet .
Because I was thinking that segwit was fork name in Bitcoin , so I am getting either wrong information or not proper information .
Since I heard about green addresses , may be these are same type of wallet starting with prefix 3
Let me tell that I am right or not?
There are 2 types of SegWit address starts with prefix
3 and
bc1. Also, SegWit is an upgrade/improvement for Bitcoin.
