Then don't use PHP. And don't run cPanel. You're just making a large problem worse.
Agreed. We are just using the server as a test area. We will be moving servers soon...However, it requires money to do that.
You're overpaying by far. Joomla also abuses resources like you've never seen before.
You could easily get away on $15-20 or less for the webserver with a properly optimised system even running joomla.

Drupal's resource requirements however will kick you in the ass repeatedly. Far more than what Joomla requires to run in tip top shape. FAR.
Still, we aren't expecting massive amounts of people using the site at a time...If it gets to that point, we would definitely migrate again. (Hell, it would be great if that happens
