I don't like losing money and selling cheap coins when the market is dropping, hold is a better and more profitable option than selling, I'm sure Waves will get better soon so with patience we can get big profits.
Have you any other reasons then 'they must be expensive' only? Yes, it's milestone with smartcontracts is a good. But anything more? Today Waves reputation closely link with many scam or poor ICOs. And team must make something great for own rep pump. I hold some Waves but don't wait huge profit
