You could change the hashing and keep it closed source if you have the know how, this would deter GPU miners are keep it slightly fairer I guess...
Agree. I also suggest that you don't release a standalone miner, so that the coin doesn't get torn apart by botnets. Look at Primecoin - it does just alright. Other than that, can't wait for release
