I don't think bitcoin mining has that major impact to the environment, on the daily basis, electricity wastes are already present even before bitcoin has existed, therefore bitcoin is just an adding factor to problems present upon its usage, and merely not the cause of the problem itself.
most likely very influential because all the electronics used by bitkoin miners use electricity, especially cellphones and computers, even laptops are all dependent on electric power, therefore the impact is very large for the bitcoiner miners if the electricity goes out so electricity goes up so the bitcoin is also go up, I guess that's the reason for a little of my knowledge, maybe from another bro, please add.
