Having WDC --> USD will not help the price most likely. Any increase should already be factored into the price based on the Efficient Market Hypothesis.
The one worry I have, is that direct exchange will actually lead to devs taking their money out. They now have extremely easy access to getting USD with their alt currency.
I think for WDC to succeed it really has to innovate, and fast. Other existing coins (PPC, LTC, QRK) are shooting up in terms of community growth and development + there is competition from new coins everyday (COINYE and random ones that draw money out of existing cryptos).

You would think that but crypto markets are anything but efficient. When Scharmbeck beta was going to open the market didn't respond until the day before release.
I thought that the price would be going up for weeks beforehand.
I mean look at all the money pouring into DOGE. Are we all going to be doing commerce in DOGE's in the future? Doubtful but people keep pouring more money into it just because it has the most exposure right now.
Also it isn't just WDC-->USD, Worldcoin already has a USD pair at Crypto-trade. It is a government approved bank wire allowed WDC/USD pair. So if you are a business or serious investor you are not screwing around with OK pay or paypal trying to move funds around the internet. Plus Scharmbeck is making it easy for merchants to implement WDC.
HUGE UPDATE - Want to see something the guys at Scharmbeck have been working on? I think you'll all be pretty excited. So not only will Scharmbeck be a WDC bank for buy/sell but it will also feature a full fledged merchant solution for online businesses. In fact, it just so happens, this has been kept quiet for a while but it's been quietly developed for a while and near ready to release!
