You sure don't make it sound like that. Why would you not hook up your old customers with a deal. We already paid for your software, there can't be that many of us, and you promised the update. You didn't promise some second rate update just to keep your word, you promised a significant new software. Treating your early customers like shit will only serve to show your new customers how they can expect to be treated in the future.
