I suggest you do both..trading is very exciting especially when you are in the winning side and you can even maximize the total numbers of btc or alts that you have before making profits in your target price..I have been doing this for few years now, some of the profits i made from trading cryptocurrencies i send it in my HODL wallet.Ive been researching alts that I believed that would really have potential to change  traditional industry and those are the alts im planning to hodl for many years.
