?? I like the idea of using an energy efficent machine, but there are tons of other devices besides the raspberry pi, some with even lower power consumption and it doesn't really make sense to exclude those. Though it would make the initial distribution much more complicated.
For genesis intiial distribution, it must be a Raspberry Pi.
Raspberry Pi will be the only OFFICIAL distribution, at least in the short term. Long term, we will consider additional hardware offerings as long as they match security and power efficiency goals of the project.
Additional platforms can always be supported as third party offerings.
