The best pool is the one you make yourself and run locally. Go to https://github.com/CartmanSPC/p2pool to get the source code to run your own node.

On a side note http://csc.xpool.net:8840 just solved block 196888 twice! 
(two different miners solved it within a second of each other...of course only the first one was valid)
