Yes, indeed this is true but at the same time there not enough providers that accept Bitcoin payments so then it only makes sense that people instead use their BTC for trading and other things alike.
It is one way to make money with bitcoin so why it is a problem for some?
You can use it with almost everything and trading is part of it or exchanging it to fiat. If you want to use it that way, it's okay and if you want to use it as a medium of exchange for products that you are availing then its better. There's nothing wrong with it.
