The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.
What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
The statement 99% of airdrops are scam, I would definitely disagree, maybe we could say 70% of it are scams., based on my experience before, way back 2017 making money from airdrops are easy and can easily be liquidated, but due to the massive growth of cryptocurrency and the token market, airdrops has been abused and used for marketing, and some of them has not been paid, and some others used for hacking and scamming wallet, hackers and scammers nowadays used airdrops as a means to get money from the participants and this must be stop. The only way to stop this is to be aware of forms we filled up, for instance, if the airdrops requested to submit the MEW private details, it might be scam. So be aware, its just a matter of self awareness.
