I would rather suggest him to wait for a response. If he is really willing to do something for his native speakers, he should not spoil it by breaking a rule and getting a negative impact for that. Patience mostly works better than doing things in hurry.

Someone should either follow the rules, or get ready for the punishment. So I would suggest mday to be patient in this matter to avoid getting into negative sides of the matter.
