Yeah, that would be amazing. The only thing that prevents us from getting there is legal matter. A lot of country don't allow cryptocurrency to be used as payment option. This happen, at least, in my country. I can't fully blame the govt though, I understand their concern about money laundering and traceability.

This is quite unfortunate because Indonesia's usage rate of digital payment, including credit card and alike, is still relatively low. A lot of digital payment provider are fighting for their market share by throwing millions of USD for marketing and promotion. I would not complain for this as customer, including me, is gaining huge benefit from their marketing. This benefits include crazy discount on big merchant like 50% off in McDonalds. I've saved a lot of daily budget because of these promos.

Had Bitcoin was allowed here and all around the world, I would voluntarily promote it here. It would be very hard to go against those unicorn company promos, but I can just focus highlighting another feature that local digital payments don't have.

By the way, 2022 is the estimated year of the next halving. Another reason why 2022 would be exciting.
