Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
As for now, we cannot say that bitcoin is already controlling the world's economy since it is not yet legal and exclusive to the world. If ever it will become legal globally in the future, there's a possibility that the changes occuring within crypto will greatly affect the world's economy that's why many countries banned bitcoin since they saw it as a threat.
