Think of the processing cores of the graphics cards as Neurons. The goal of the project is to develop the necessary software to run AI applications using these Neurons, while storing the knowledge created at run-time, into a blockchain-style data structure, optimized for reusability.
Our target is to create a publicly-available knowledge blockchain, wrapped in an ecosystem with its own currency, where users can execute both asynchronous and synchronous tasks using their terminal of choice.
The open-source code can be forked to create private knowledge blockchains, for tasks which may involve privacy concerns and other data restrictions.
Imagine a GPU-mining rig that at same time is able to simultaneously mine and also do other tasks like machine learning, video processing or other dedicated processing tasks, being rewarded for both activities.
Now add skill rewards to the image forming in your mind, rewards earned by whoever added the skill in the blockchain. Skill rewards are issued automatically whenever one or more skills are combined into a new, more complex skill.
