I wouldn't say control, but I think that there is a big chance that bitcoins, or Bitcoin specifically, may have a hand in improving and making the world economy more vibrant and active. I say that because of the fact that it's a growing market, and so, if more and more people from different countries would really embrace and support it, and ultimately, improve its market. It can really rake in big returns and income on those who invest in it. Also, if it gains more value, it can be more competitive in similar markets and assets.
