When does the swap start, when does it end? I understand that I am sending you PCN, you send me the PXN, and after 6 months I receive my PCN back, and maybe I do not receive it if the project is dead. It is risky to give away coins that have their price, and get a coin that is not worth anything yet.
That's why it is an optional swap, not mandatory. Think of it more like you'll initially only be able to obtain PXN through PCN only i.e until PXN is listed on an exchange. PCN will be maintained and other avenues of growth looked into for PCN, it's not going away. We have some ideas around a good use case for PXN, we still need to find a good achievable use case for PCN given it's inflation issue/non-issue. Current 100% ROI does make it slightly limiting in terms of a use case - but there may be something out there for 100% ROI chain. The swapped PCN will actually be used for marketing and exchange listing for PXN. We think the 6 month would be substantial in generating the required funds to launch PXN successfully.
There's also nothing stopping you from hanging on to all your PCN and only swapping your PCN stake rewards for PXN throughout the swap period. You would get less but it is all up to you and your choice.
