I think this is the minimum for what you would need on the proxy.

It will default to accepting getwork on port 8332 and connecting to the specified stratum pool on port 3333. If that's fine for your pools and Blade configs, then you can make it really that short

The desk fan works very well for me with 4 OC'ed Blades, with an aluminium dead* Macbook Pro as additional heatsink and stand
*dead because I mined with it for over 3 month 24/7, so I would say don't do it!
