I think both XRP and ETH are worth the investment now as the position of these two currencies is too strong. And it leads the trend in the Altcoins category.
You're right when you said the position of the coins was strong and they both maintain there position whenever since they cliche the top slot but Ethereum posed great quality in terms of investment abd trading than ripple because is centralized and don't much community support. However, the new deal Ethereum team had with Microsoft, Intel, JP Morgan and hyperledger will boost Ethereum in the market.
