wow..... after almost 10 days of off and on trying to figure this out, I HAVE LEARNED a ton thanks to you guys.
I now see my .135 bch in my coins tab of my electron cash wallet.
ok NOW......
SO I do not make this mistake again......
I save my address(es) and use the address as payment? can someone send me a link to a intro to bitcoins?
I appreciate all your help
Remember, the coins you now hold are
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and not
Bitcoin (BTC). While Bitcoin.com may refer to BCH as Bitcoin, most of the rest of the world doesn't.
So if you're asked to pay with Bitcoin, most people will expect you to send them BTC and
not BCH.
If you decide to send your coins to an exchange, double and triple check that you are sending them to the exchange's Bitcoin Cash / BCH address. If you accidentally send BCH to an exchange's BTC address (or vice versa), those coins are
gone as most exchanges don't go through the trouble of recovering your misplaced coins for you.
