Experts? No. They're not gonna babysit us just to keep our wallets safe, unless you're that rich enough to manage the expenses in the fortification of the wallet you're using but why would you need it anyway if you can secure your own wallet for free.
Where do you store your private keys eventually? Notepad or any word processors? You're just screwing yourself with that method.
Do you have any extra savings to invest in a hardware wallet? Do it when you can, it isn't that a must but it is a plus.
