unsent merits get accumulated with the next month's merit. There is nothing like wasted or burnt, IMO. Am I correct?
Merit sources receive such notice.
You are a merit source. The next XX "or XXX" merit you spend will come from your source rather than your sMerit balance. Merit spent from your source will come back in 30 days. Unused source merit is wasted. It is not allowed for merit sources to sell their merit.
All these things to motivate the members to spend their sMerits, even if you do not have time to send all increase the average, "3 merit/ great post, 1/good post."
The reason for choosing is often a particular board, "sources for local boards," but this does not prevent spending on all.
