@Theymos @hilariousandco

Is it not better to Lay down some flexible rules before permanent banning ?
At least give em Second chance Or a temp ban Or even paid options to be lifted ban.
Humans make mistakes. permabans without warning is exactly same as execution. Im sure everyone made mistake, either here or in real life! So you should get banned on life because of mistakes? Where is mercy and kindness ?

Pls Just Add some flexible rules, To give regretful people new chance.

Regards

I assume you're talking about copy-pasting here, as that apparently is what you got perm-banned for?

If it was merely a mistake by a user, or a one-time thing, i would be inclined to agree.

In practice however this usually isn't the case. 99% of the people who are getting banned are people who are doing this for monetary gain, and systematically. Giving them a second chance would only pollute the forum even more.

Which means you have to choose between making exceptions for everyone, and no one. I guess the forum (rightly so) chose the latter.

Except that you do get warned. They're not given without a reason, (well, atleast not that i know of.)
