Can we make a ton of money buy going short on bitcoin now? Profiting from bitcoins downtrend? Someone tried that already

We hope OP already get profit with that because this thread created few months ago. If he do short on bitcoin, maybe he already take profit because bitcoin price keep decreased after may.
nope i didnt bought bitcoin futures but i think they are still an opportunity to buy to earn a lot of money,
when i published this (30) may bitcoin was at arround 8k
then it dropped below 6k
with bitcointalk and coinmarketcap losing 11% viewers per month
it is a very good assumtpion that bitcoin price will fall and bitcoin short futures are profitable nevertheless cryptomarket will stay.
