Do you really think you've actually gained something by replying like the way you did? 
Some people love science fiction, but while they're watching science fiction does it mean that they wholeheartedly believe that it's so?
Come to think of it, more often than not science fiction becomes a scientific possibility at some point in the future.
But whether it's feasible or not to actually happen, that's another story altogether of course.
