Is it true that the market usually rises before the end of the year?
If so, why do you think it happens?
I spoke with few people that already said that in the last 5 years the market became really bulish

Well, is it true for the past 3 or so years? Yes. Prices have generally been on the rise at the end of the year.

But then you have to ask yourself why. Is there a particular reason why it's doing so, or are prices simply coincidentally rising because of the fact that the past 2 years have been pretty bullish?

Potentially, end of year could provide a change in market sentiment especially on the emotional aspect of trading, leading to this bullish outbreak at the end of the years of the past few years. Other than that i see no rational reason for this to happen, which means that it shouldn't be a trend that should be relied on imho.
