Anyone ever been to Sri Lanka? Any suggestions on stuff to do there?

I'm flying there in the end of October for a couple of weeks, too bad I didn't check the weather before buying the tickets, the end of Oct and beginning of Nov are supposedly the rainiest periods, lucky me!
